Failed attempts at living simple lives

The music poured through the speakers and we were losing ourselves in the cadence.
She looked down momentarily and closed her eyes for a bit longer than a standard blink.
Then she was crying. Then she was shouting. Then I was shouting, now pouring confessions, having no answers, or solutions, we barely even knew the questions.

Peak Oil

Reaching out for something to hold

Flygbranschen kan ibland vara lite förvirrande.
Till Helsingfors flyger jag med Blue1.. So far so good.
Vad som förvirrar mig är att jag checkar in hos SAS, boardar hos SAS, färdas i ett Snowflake flygplan och landar på en Finnair-gate.
På vägen hem flyger jag återigen med Blue1, fast denna gången checkar jag in hos AirBaltic, och längre än så kom jag inte för att jag missade planet...

För att göra det hela lite enklare för mig bokar jag en ny biljett, denna gång hos AirBaltic, vilket resulterar i att jag checkar in hos SAS, första gången.. Andra gången var det hos Lufthansa. Jag boardar i en Finnair-gate och färdas i ett ommålat SAS-plan.
Förvisso får man ge viss credit att jag under min mellanlandning i Riga bara hade och göra med AirBaltic.
Dock var kaoset återställt när jag landar i Köpenhamn, hos.. SAS.

och vem fan kom på idéen av att döpa ett flygbolag efter något som faller ner från himlen...
Snowflake? Rly?

På förekommen anledning:
"Snowflake only operated from Denmark and Sweden and ceased separate operations in 2004"
Jag baserade mitt uttalande på ett citat skrivet brevid flygplansdörren som involverade Snöflingor. Tydligen innebar inte detta att jag färdades i ett Snowflakeplan, utan bara att SAS rent generellt identiferar sig med snöflingor. Apologies all round.

It’s perpetually blinding me of sanity

Här skulle det egentligen varit alldeles för många bilder, med sådär lite fyndiga bildtexter från en födelsedagsfest jag attenderade nyligen. Dock, på grund av ett glömt minneskort blev det inte så.
