Person Specification: The successful candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a sommelier in a five star hotel or fine dining restaurant Excellent wine knowledge (preferably both new world & old world wines) The ability to work unsupervised A great approach to team work Excellent communication skills Outstanding customer service skills A willingness to learn

Qualification / Education: Hotel Management degree Wine knowledge certificate such as WSET is preferred

Languages and Desirable Skills: Fluent English is essential Basic computer skills (MS Office) Previous MICROS experience is preferred Proficiency in a second language such as Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian or Arabic would be an advantage
